Driving Laws in Australia
Driving Licenses - Tourists can drive in Australia on a valid overseas full drivers license for the same class of vehicle as appear on the license. You must carry your driving license and your passport with you all the time while driving a motorhome.

In Australia you must drive on the left hand side of the road.

Seat belts must be worn by drivers and passengers at all times.

Australians have a very strict drink driving law.

The maximum speed limit in built up areas in cities and towns in Australia is 60km/h and on country roads and highways, 100km/h - 110 km/h unless signs indicate a different spped limit.

Petrol out in the country is generally more expensive than in main towns. Check the type of fuel required for your RV before filling up. Leaded and unleaded petrol are available in Australia.
